- This one-day, Military Lifecycle class for 1st and 2nd term Airmen and Sailors is intended to give service members at key milestones in their career the information to make an informed decision on their future career. Participants will focus on personal and professional assessment, civilian and military career options, financial planning, developing a professional network, and VA benefits. - Learn how to create your profile to capitalize off LinkedIn professional networking. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn how employers are taking advantage of the business and employment oriented social network to assist in networking, recruiting, and hiring. This class will demonstrate building your professional profile and summary, utilizing the job search functions, marketing yourself to LinkedIn recruiters, strengthening your network, and leveraging the LinkedIn resources to your advantage. This workshop will teach you the basic skills and techniques of managing and budgeting your money; how to shop for investments; the difference between stocks, bonds, Roth and traditional IRAs, CDs, money market accounts, and more.
