Hickam Harbor is a great place to learn new things while you’re here in Hawaii, such as sailing, surfing, snorkeling, paddleboarding and kayaking. Take advantage of the knowledgeable staff and all that Outdoor Recreation has to offer. Don’t miss out on these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities!

Sailboat rentals are available Wednesday-Sunday from 9am-3:30pm. Boats must be docked by 4:30pm.

3 boats available per 2-hour time blocks. 

Due to limited quantities, early sign-ups are recommended. 

Payment is required at time of sign-up to secure time slot.  Call for current rates. Cancellations within 48 hours forfeit all money paid. Must possess a current sailing check out card (checkout must be within the last year, 365 days)

Adult Small Boat Sailing Course At Hickam Harbor

Come sail at Hickam Harbor! Learn to rig and sail small sailboats. No experience required! Maximum of 8 students per session.

Meets Wed/Fri 9:30am-12pm

Cost: $200 per person 

 Ages 18 & up

September Session (2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30)

October Session (5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28)

November Session (2, 4, 9, 16, 18, 23, 24, 30)

Open Ocean Outrigger Canoe Paddling

Enjoy a beautiful canoe paddle from Hickam Harbor to Iroquois Beach and back.

Bottom Fishing

*Scheduling will be done by Lifeguard Supervisor*

Private Bottom Fishing (3 Hours) $175 Flat Rate

Trip includes gear, bait, guides and boat. (Max 5)

Learn to Spearfish (Ages 12+)

Spearfishing 101 & 102 $150 per person *Must know how to swim and have snorkeling experience*

Spearfish Excursion $30 per person

Historical Bike Ride

December 3, 7, 17 - $30 per person (includes bike)

Our Historical Bike ride will take you on an exclusive journey to discover the history of Hickam Harbor like you would never have expected. All while enjoying the beautiful scenic views.
