Expert instructors help you get fit with a variety of in-person classes to suit your needs and goals. All classes are an hour or less, giving you enough time for a good workout then get on your way. Here's a list of the classes currently offered at either JBPHH or Hickam Fitness Centers. Classes will be adjusted as needed to comply with current covid measures.
CARDIO FLOW
Combine strength training, body lengthening, core training, and stretching for a great workout experience.
CARDIO KICKBOXING
A total body burner that uses explosive power and interval training to help sculpt lean muscle and build endurance level.
CARDIO MASH-UP
A class that utilizes indoor cycle bikes along with other pieces of equipment.
CYCLE EXPRESS
30 minutes of cycle along with 15 minutes of stretching.
INDOOR CYCLING
A motivating class that makes the most of music, technique, and choreography to provide an excellent low-impact cardiovascular workout.
POLYNESIAN FITNESS
A workout that includes basic hula steps, hand motions, and dance postures while telling a story with the movement of the body. This class will focus on the core to increase strength.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
This class is intended to help eliminate that excess fat while building strength and endurance. This class may include but not limited to circuit training, resistance exercises, and bodyweight movements.
STRETCH AND MOBILITY
This class utilizes various tools and techniques to help you feel your best. Self-myofascial release, dynamic and static stretching will be used in this restorative class to rejuvenate the body.
TURBOKICK®
This class consists of intervals with kickboxing-specific training sequences and easy-to-follow combinations. Workout includes core training and relaxing cooldown.
YOGA FLOW
A practice where yoga postures or asanas are connected through the breath. Improve your flexibility, balance, strength, and relaxation skills with this calming workout.
ZUMBA®
This Latin infused, dance-fitness workout includes music and movements for a dynamic workout. Zumba integrates some of the basic principles of aerobic, interval, and resistance training to maximize caloric output, cardio benefits, and total body toning.
ZUMBA® TONING
This class utilizes various tools and techniques to help you feel your best. Self-myofascial release, dynamic and static stretching will be used in this restorative class to rejuvenate the body.
