RIDESHARE & FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE ACCESS PROGRAM
Welcome to the JBPHH Rideshare & Delivery Service Access Program. This new initiative allows authorized rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.) and food delivery service (Door Dash, Grubhub, etc.) vendors to request base access for the purpose of conducting business on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The Morale, Welfare & Recreation (MWR) office is serving as the sponsor for this program and is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and submitting access packets to the Pass and ID Office.
Interested? Here is what you need to do:
- Complete all application forms in full
- Every field must be filled out accurately
- All required signatures must be in ink or official digital format.
- Note: computer-generated cursive-style signatures will not be accepted.
- Complete background check requirements
- Complete the SECNAV Form 5512/1 and the JB2 Form 0-180
- These forms authorize a background check and are required for unescorted access to the installation.
- Applicants with certain felony convictions may not be eligible for base access.
- In-Person Verification
- Valid documentation must be presented in-person to MWR before the application packet is submitted to the base Pass & ID office.
- Processing Timeline
- Once submitted to the Pass & ID office, processing time will be approximately 30 days.
- If approved, your base access credentials will be issued and will be valid for one (1) year or until the expiration date on your driver's license, whichever comes first.
- Renewal & Expiration
- If you wish to renew, please begin the renewal process at least two months prior to the expiration date on your pass. Early renewal is allowed.
- If you leave the area and/or no longer require base access, you must return you DBIDS credential to MWR or the Pass & ID office.
Are you active duty or military dependent and are interested in becoming a rideshare or food delivery driver? You can work with the service to get your military ID accepted as valid for a delivery position.
