MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The incumbent works closely with Region and Installation FFR programs, activities, and personnel to identify activities where on-site visits by the management analysts are needed or highly desirable, e.g. to assist in resolving local FFR problems.
- Provides technical advice and assistance to management and program officials in all areas of FFR of broad scope and mission.
- Provides support on an adhoc basis to managers on issues concerning FFR programs and objectives.
- Provides assistance to program managers and serves as a technical expert and troubleshooter in assigned areas. Applies professional skill and knowledge to assist in developing innovative and effective solutions for critical issues.
- Analyzes problems and trends to develop or revise policies and develops program requirements and plans for FFR programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of the appropriated fund budgeting and support process is highly desirable.
- Ability to plan, direct and motivate the efforts of others.
- Knowledge of and familiarity with the operations of Fleet and Family Readiness and the organizational structure and components of the US Navy.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and the ability to communicate, both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of program goals and objectives and the sequence of timing of key program events and milestones and methods of evaluating the worth of program accomplishments.
- Knowledge of current spreadsheet, word processing, database and graphics computer software.
- Knowledge of the laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the administration of Navy FFR programs.

- Expert knowledge and skill to interpret governing regulations and laws.
