MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
“Another Way to Serve” - The work directly contributes to military members, retiree’s, civilians and family members’ quality of life, mission readiness and contributes to job satisfaction and retention of valuable member’s. As a Custodial Worker Leader, you will perform variety of tasks in the housekeeping area. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Training provided.

Supervision of housekeeping staff

Use of Property Management Systems to maximize utilization of room inventory

Conducts store room inventories

Conduct Room Inspections

Coordinates inventory readiness with the front desk

Handles guest room concerns

Performs cleaning duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge that demonstrates basic principles, concepts, standards, regulations and administration related to housekeeping and/or custodial and laundry operations.
Upon selection, the incumbent may be required to obtain and maintain a driver’s license.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Professional knowledge of the lodging organization, administration, policies/procedures, and supervisory practices in conducting day-to-day operations.
Knowledge of housekeeping and facility policies and standards, use and care of cleaning solutions, safety, environmental, and fire prevention regulations and practices.
Must be skilled in the use of a personal computer and various software programs, including knowledge of the property management system (EPITOME).
Must possess basic math and reading skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
