Meet Hawai?i’s Native Wildlife: Iwi kuamo?o ?ole (Invertebrates). Find out who these unique creatures are, from iconic kahuli land snails to pulelehua butterflies and where they live in Hawai?i's diverse habitats. More importantly, we'll explore their role in island ecosystems, from pollination and decomposition to serving as food sources. This presentation will also highlight endangered species conservation with the Division of Forestry & Wildlife’s Hawai?i Invertebrate Program and Snail Extinction Prevention Program.
