Lifeguard Hiring Day 2026

Open to the public (Ages 16+)

Sunday, March 15 | 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. | Hickam Family Pool

JBPHH Aquatics is hiring for lifeguards! Become certified and get hired with us! Starting pay is $17.25 per hour.

Swim test prerequisite: 

Must complete a 150-yard swim, immediately followed by a two-minute water tread with no hands, immediately followed by a 50-yard swim. Lastly, a 25-yard brick tow (10 lbs) for time. After completing the prerequisites, there will be an in-person interview with JBPHH Aquatics staff. 

Bring 2 valid forms of ID, resume with at least two references, swimsuit, and a towel. Base access is required.* Lifeguard classes will be March 16-20 at Hickam Family Pool from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. (Must be able to attend all class dates) .
