Nov 16  FREE Advance Screening "Gladiator II", 2:30 p.m. at Sharkey Theater.  Ticket distribution begins at 1 p.m.  Active duty military members can receive up to four tickets.  Retired military, military dependents and DoD civilian cardholders may receive up to two tickets.  This movie is rated R.

Nov 16  Child & Youth Programs Hiring Fair, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Peltier Child Development Center.  You could have a career taking care of our youngest who serve!  New hires can earn over $2000 in incentives, tuition assistance and discounts on their own childcare.  This fair is open to the public.  FMI:  808-471-9336

Nov 21  Warrior Care Month Resource Fair, 9 a.m. - noon at Hickam Chapel.  In recognition of Warrior Care Month, all active duty military, military retirees, reservists, national guardsmen and their family members are invited to attend this FREE resource fair.  Many service members don’t realize that they, or someone they know, are eligible for support from Wounded Warrior.  Several organizations will be on hand to highlight their resources available to recovering military members and their families. 

Nov 22  FREE Advance Screening "Moana 2" for Active Duty Servicemembers, 6:30 p.m. at Sharkey Theater.  Active duty servicemembers, we have yet another FREE  and EXCLUSIVE advance movie screening and this is going to be a big one!  NOTE: tickets with assigned seating will be distributed by a Lottery system.  The lottery is open to Active Duty Only.  Military retirees, DoD civilians and other MWR patrons are not eligible for this event.  Entry into the lottery does not guarantee tickets.  

Nov 28  Tradewinds Thanksgiving Meals to Go.  Skip the mess in the kitchen and let Tradewinds do the work for you so you can enjoy the holiday!  Order your to-go meals by Nov 25.  Single meals ($28) and family meals ($112 serves four) are available and pick up will be on Nov 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Supplies are limited so order yours now before it sells out!  Call 808-449-7144 for more information.

Nov 28  Liberty Thanksgiving Feast Lunch, 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Kona Winds Liberty Center.  Single service members E1-E6 of JBPHH may visit the Liberty Center and enjoy a free Thanksgiving meal.

Nov 29  Black Friday Movie Special, 7 p.m. at Sharkey Theater.  After a long day of holiday shopping, relax with a movie!  Enjoy discounted concessions from the snack bar, the perfect relief for your credit card after all that shopping.  Doors open at 6:15 p.m.

Nov 29  Black Friday Paintball Special, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Fort Kamehameha Paintball.  $10 entry fee and equipment rental.  Call 808-781-6318 for more information.

Nov 30  Turn & Burn Ride, 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. at JBPPH Fitness Center.  This 2-hour cycle workout is FREE, open to all eligible patrons and the perfect opportunity to burn those Thanksgiving calories. In the spirit of giving, donations will be accepted for Domestic Abuse Shelters (Parent and Children Together).

Dec 1-16  12 Days of Fitness, at Hickam Fitness Center and JBPHH Fitness Center.  More information coming soon!

Dec 1-18  12 Miles to Christmas, at Scott Pool.  You are challenged to swim the equivalent of 12 miles during this time period.  This is a free challenge, sign up at Scott Pool.

Dec 1-28  Pick a Price Special, at Hickam and Pier Side Bowling Centers.  Are you feeling lucky?  Stop by Pier Side or Hickam bowling centers and pick from our "gift box".  You may win a free shoe rental, a free fountain drink, or even a discounted game of bowling.

Dec 6  Pau Hana Friday, 4:30 - 7 p.m. at Wright Brothers Cafe and Grille.  Get the weekend started right, with live musical entertainment, delicious food to nosh on, sunset over Hickam Channel to melt the stress away.

Dec 8  Breakfast and Bowl with Santa, 9 - 11:30 a.m. at Pier Side Bowlng Center.  $15, open to ages 4-12 years.  Price includes visit with Santa, breakfast, one game of bowling, shoe rentals included.  Limit 30 children.  Sign up November 29 - December 5.  Call 808-473-2574 for more information.

Dec 9  MannyShow Athletic Development Clinic, at Ward Field.  7 - 8 a.m. for active duty, 5 - 6 p.m. for youth.  Find your path to fitness through the right mechanics, consistency, and intensity while revisiting the fundamentals.  Advance registration required, active duty through their Command Fitness Leader, youth through Youth Sports.

Dec 13  55th Annual Tower Lighting Celebration, presented by USAA.  It's the biggest holiday celebration of the season!  The fun begins at 4 p.m. on the lawn in front of Freedom Tower.  Tons of free activities, a laser light show spectacular and much more!

Dec 14  Ugly Sweater 5K, 7 a.m. at Hickam Fitness Center.  Throw on your ugliest holiday sweaters and join us on this fun run!  The most festive sweater will take home the prize.  Registration for this free run begins at 6:30 a.m. and is open to all DoD ID cardholders.

Dec 14-25  12 Days of Liberty.  Participate in Liberty events and be entered in a raffle for a chance to win a FREE Near Year's Eve Fireworks Cruise! *Winners will be chosen after Christmas. Click on the link to see the full Liberty calendar and what events will be happening on the 12 days.

Dec 15  Lunch and Bowl with Santa, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Hickam Bowling Center.  $15, open to ages 4-12 years.  Price includes visit with Santa, lunch, one game of bowling, shoe rentals included.  Limit 30 children.  Sign up November 29 - December 5.  Call 808-448-9959 for more information.

Dec 19  Pajama Storytime with Santa, 6 p.m. at JBPHH Library.  Join us for a Holly Jolly Storytime with the one and only Santa Claus! Afterwards, enjoy a North Pole ice cream social. This is a free event open to all ages.

Dec 21  Cozy Christmas Movie Night, 7 p.m. at Sharkey Theater.  Get in your cozy pajamas and come enjoy a classic Christmas movie!  Ticket includes a holiday craft activity before the movie and full hot cocoa bar. Event starts at 6 p.m. and movie starts at 7 p.m. 

Dec 23 - Jan 3  Youth Sports Winter Break Leagues.  Keep the kids active over the school break with our basketball and volleyball leagues.  Open to ages 7 and up.  Child must be registered and current with NAYS.

Dec 23-27 and Dec 30 - Jan 3  Youth Ocean Adventure Winter Break Camps, at Hickam Harbor.  Open to ages 7 to 15 years. Hickam Harbor will offer two one-week sessions to choose from (limit one camp per youth).  Activities may vary, subject to weather, ocean conditions and abilities of the group.  IMPORTANT: Registration opens Nov. 30 at 9 a.m. at Hickam Harbor and will be accepted in-person only.

Dec 25  Liberty Christmas Day Lunch Feast, starting at 11:30 a.m.. at Kona Winds Liberty Center.  Single service members E1-E6 of JBPHH may visit the Liberty Center and enjoy a free Christmas meal.

Dec 26  Bah Humbug Paintball Special, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Fort Kamehameha Paintball.  $10 entry fee and equipment rental.  Call 808-781-6318 for more information.

Jan 1-7  New Year's Swim Challenge, at Scott Pool.  Kick off 2025 with a fitness challenge! See if you can swim a total of 2025 yards withing the first seven days of the year. Participants will need to track their own progress, cards will be available at Scott Pool. The first 36 participants to complete the challenge will receive a commemorative towel. This is a free event, register at Scott Pool.
