Nov 14 If That Was Me Game Show, presented by Armed Forces Entertainment. 6 p.m. at Tradewinds. Think you can do better in game shows than the contestants you see on TV? Let's see it! Join us at Tradewinds and you may be in the hot seat for contests similar to your favorite game shows. This show is free and is family friendly. Get there early for the best seats!
Nov 17 Military & Family Support Center Fall Festival, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at MFSC Moanalua. Don't miss out on the bouncy house, face painting, crafts, games, and more from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm! Admission is free and we can't wait to see you there. For more information call 808-474-1999.
Nov 22 Tradewinds Thanksgiving Meals to Go. Skip the mess in the kitchen and pick up your own holiday meal on Thanksgiving during the lunch hour (10 a.m. - 1 p.m.). Meals are individual plates (no family meals) and orders and payment in advance is required. Call 808-449-7144 to place your order.
Nov 23 Liberty Thanksgiving Day Feast, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Kona Winds Liberty Center. Single service members of JBPHH may visit the Liberty Center and pick up a free Thanksgiving meal.
Nov 25 Turn & Burn Ride, 8:30 a.m. at JBPPH Fitness Center. This 2-hour cycle workout is FREE, open to all eligible patrons and the perfect opportunity to burn those Thanksgiving calories. Canned goods will be accepted for Hawaii Foodbank.
Dec 2 Ugly Sweater 5K, 7 a.m. at Hickam Fitness Center. Throw on your ugliest holiday sweaters and join us on this fun run! Registration for this free run begins at 6:30 a.m. and is open to all DoD ID cardholders.
Dec 6 Rudolph Sleigh Ride Challenge, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at JBPHH Fitness Center. Push a weighted sled 240 feet. Fastest times win fun prizes! Workload determined by bodyweight: female 30% and male 50%. FREE to enter, call 808-471-2019 for more information.
Dec 7 Pajama Story Time with Santa, 6 p.m. at the JBPHH Library and supported by MFSC. This magical evening features everyone's favorite jolly old elf as guest reader. And yes, you are welcome to wear your PJs!
Dec 9 Operation Santa, presented by MFSC. Operation Santa is back for families of deployed service members! Spend a night on the Mighty Mo and enjoy games and a visit with Santa! Registration closes on Friday, Nov. 9, for more info call 808-474-1999.
Dec 9 Sensory-friendly Holiday Storytime, 9 a.m. at the JBPHH Library and supported by MFSC. This special event will include holiday songs and stories for kids who prefer a quieter, calmer storytime experience.
Dec 10 Breakfast and Bowl with Santa, 9 - 11:30 a.m. at Pier Side Bowlng Center. $15, open to ages 4-12 years. Price includes visit with Santa, breakfast, one game of bowling, shoe rentals included. Limit 30 children. Sign up December 1-7. Call 808-473-2574 for more information.
Dec 14-25 12 Days of Liberty. Participate in Liberty events and be entered in a raffle for a chance to win a FREE Near Year's Eve Fireworks Cruise! *Winners will be chosen after Christmas.
Dec 14 Holiday Barracks Bash, 5 - 7 p.m. at Seawolf Tower. Calling all JBPHH single service members! Join Liberty for fun activities, free food and learn about upcoming events.
Dec 15 54th Annual Tower Lighting Celebration, sponsored by USAA. It's the biggest holiday celebration of the season! The fun begins at 4:30pm on the lawn in front of Freedom Tower. Tons of free activities, a laser light show spectacular and some new, fantastic surprises this year!
Dec 16 Racquetball Clinic with Robbie Collins. 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at JBPHH Fitness Center racquetball court. Learn to play this exhilirating, fast-paced sport from nationally-ranked Robbie Collins. FREE, no advance signup. First come, first served, limited space. Call 808-471-2019 fore more information.
Dec 17 Lunch and Bowl with Santa, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Hickam Bowling Center. $15, open to ages 4-12 years. Price includes visit with Santa, lunch, one game of bowling, shoe rentals included. Limit 30 children. Sign up December 1-7. Call 808-448-9959 for more information.
Dec 20-21 STEM Project: Paper Circuit Holiday Card at JBPHH Library. Open to ages 6 and up. Space is limited so register your child in person or call 808-449-8296.
Dec 22 Holiday Movie in the Park, 6 p.m. at Hickam Harbor Waterfront. Grab your blanket and head down to Hickam Harbor for a holiday movie in the park at sunset! Bring your family and your Christmas spirit to add some fun to your holiday season.
Dec 25 Liberty Christmas Day Feast, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Kona Winds Liberty Center. Single service members of JBPHH may visit the Liberty Center and pick up a free Christmas meal.
Dec 31 New Year's Eve Countdown Party. 8 p.m. - 1 a.m. at The Sandbar at Kona Winds Complex. No cover, 18 and older. We're keeping it chill for those who want to avoid the rowdy partying in other places. We'll still have drink specials, party favors and a toast at midnight.
